It’s that time of the quarter, with Oracle having unveiled the latest and upcoming Recruiting and Recruiting Booster features for 24C, including more exciting Redwood features for Hiring Managers and Recruiters. Check out a selection of my key highlights below.

  • Redwood Experience for Candidate Pages

The candidate list and candidate details pages for candidate search, candidate pools, job requisitions, and events have been recreated for Redwood.

The new candidate list pages will greatly improve the user experience with many filters introduced that you currently do not find in the responsive pages. For prospect and event audiences, you will gain grid view capabilities with a new summary view.

Hiring Managers and Recruiters will also find a redesigned candidate details page when reviewing their prospects or candidates. The candidate details page includes updates to all tabs, for example, the ‘My Emails’ filter on the Message tab, which includes emails that you sent to the candidate and emails where you are a participant in job applications, prospects, events and candidate pools.

The side card provides useful information on this redesigned page about the candidate, such as their contact information and a link to their candidate profile. Plus, an Actions menu containing all the possible candidate actions.

  • Redwood Experience for Job Requisition Template Pages

The job requisition template list and job requisition template details pages have also been recreated for Redwood.

When clicking Job Requisition Templates via My Client Groups > Quick Actions > Hiring, you will see all active and draft requisition templates. You will be able to search for requisition templates and filter results, sort the list of requisition templates, show and hide columns and much more.

These Redwood job requisition template pages have been modified to align with the Redwood job requisition pages released in 24B. All the sections and content are in sync to provide a consistent and unified experience for the users who perform transactions on both job requisition templates and job requisitions.

The Redwood job requisition template details page enhances the user experience by effectively organizing information for easy access and review. Consistent with other Redwood pages, tabs are positioned at the top, and the sections within these tabs are expanded by default, so users can easily review the information they are interested in.

Actions to perform on the job requisition template are available in the Actions menu located at the top of the page. The Preview action is now directly available on the details page for quicker access. Plus, enhancements have been made to the Details, Screening Services, and Job Formatting tabs.

  • Redwood Experience for Job Offer Approval Task

Another new Redwood page is the Approvals work area for Job Offers.

This new Approvals Tasks page shows a list of the tasks assigned to you, including business attributes depending on the approval type. This new work area has been designed and built with performance as a priority. The user experience is improved for both desktop and tablet or mobile users, making it easy to act on approval tasks and notifications.

Users will be able to click a job offer approval title to open the Quick View, which displays key information about the job offer approval and allows them to approve or reject it from the same screen. They can then click the arrow to navigate to the next task in the list.

  • Compose Email and Text Messages using AI Assist

From 24C, we start to see more generative AI features with Hiring Manager and Recruiters now being able to draft emails and text messages to send to candidates faster and in a more personalised way by using Oracle’s AI Assist feature. This feature delivered as part of the Redwood Experience, creates ready-to-use content that’s relevant to the topic of the discussion, such as inviting candidates to apply for jobs, sending reminders or follow ups and more.  The Hiring Team can then edit this content or ask AI Assist to regenerate the content depending on the requirement.

In summary,  24C is continuing to build on the Redwood Experience and Generative AI for Hiring Managers and Recruiters, exploiting further recruiting efficiencies and enhancing the candidate experience.
