The Oracle Fusion Cloud Time and Labor 25D update was released as part of the broader Oracle
Cloud HCM quarterly updates. This release focuses on enhancing time entry validation,
integrations, and user experience, building on the real-time rules engine and rule templates for
overtime calculations and pay rules.

New Features and Enhancements

 Enhanced Rule Templates and Real-Time Rules Engine: Provides extensible validation
for time entries and automatic application of pay rules (e.g., overtime). This enables
more robust, customizable time management without extensive coding.
 Full Integrations with Core HCM Applications: Seamless connectivity with Global
Human Resources, Absence Management, Global Payroll, and Project Costing. Time data
flows in real-time, reducing manual reconciliation and errors in payroll processing and
project billing.

 Redwood Experience Exclusivity for New Features: All browser-based time card
functionalities now require the Redwood UI. This delivers a modern, responsive
interface with improved mobile support and faster load times.
 Improved Data Security Policies: Dedicated policies for time card management,
allowing role-based access (e.g., separating time management from HR oversight). This
supports compliance in multi-role scenarios.

 Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Enhancements: Real-time reporting for time
data analysis, including ad-hoc reports on time entries, approvals, and trends. New
dashboards for decision-making in workforce scheduling.
