If you haven’t started transitioning to Redwood, now is the time to start. As of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Release 25C (i.e., third quarter of 2025), a majority of HCM pages will only be available in the Redwood user interface. The change affects all pages used by employees, managers, and HR professionals within the Recruiting, Global HR, Talent, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll modules.

A step-by-step approach

The plan identifies six steps for Redwood adoption, provides details on specific tasks and the scope of work, and links to helpful Oracle documents and resources. Here’s a high-level preview of the stages:

  • Configure environment: You’ll set up the test environment and complete all prerequisites, such as ensuring the tool for migrating page personalizations is ready for use.
  • Identify pages to be moved: Here, you’ll use our template to build a list of the pages and associated profiles to be converted.
  • Assess impacts: You’ll investigate how adoption impacts security, features, personalizations, and business rules—and assess the complexity associated with each area.
  • Review with business owners: Redwood gives you the option to adopt new experiences and features such as GenAI. Review the impact of new pages and capabilities and decide whether to enable them.
  • Finalize the plans: Here, you’ll complete the build and test plans, write test scripts, and determine a date to start the build.
  • Build, test, and deploy: During this final step, you can consult resources like Oracle Cloud Customer Connect or log a support request to address any issues.
