• CALCULATE COMPONENT EFFECTIVITY DATES BASED ON INVENTORY USE-UP DATES

If you have enabled the Supply Chain Planning offering, you can now use a new Calculate Use-Up Date action on the change order’s Affected Objects table to view and select the use-up dates defined in the planning application. This helps you calculate the optimal effectivity dates for structure components that are being removed or replaced on engineering and commercialization change orders.

This update includes some bug fixes that can change the way Oracle Product Development and Product Hub work. This isn’t a full list of all the bug fixes in this update. This list includes the bug fixes that can cause a noticeable change in application behavior.

  • Error on Deleting Item Structures Using Delete Groups

Prior to this update, deleting an item structure through a delete group resulted in a null pointer exception. This issue occurred if you tried to delete parent items that have at least one component item from the Item Structures tab on a delete group.

The deletion process now completes successfully without errors.

  • ACCESS SIDE PANEL VIEW OF ITEM DATA FROM SEARCH RESULTS USING A REDWOOD PAGE

When you search for items using the Product Management Search Redwood page, you can now view item associations in a side panel for each item in the search results table. Use the data presence indicators within the item rows to open the side panel view for the selected item.

From the Product Management Search page in the Redwood interface, you can now click the data presence indicators on the item structure grid to view component data in a side panel.

  • ANALYZE STRUCTURE DETAILS IN LEVEL STRUCTURE VIEW

Use the new interface to quickly find item structures and view the exact information you want. First, navigate to the new item search from Tasks > Product Management Experience > Search Products.

In the item search results table, you can click the structure presence indicator (dot icon) against the item to navigate to the structure. When you open the structure, if there are subassemblies, you can navigate to these using the presence indicators on the component rows.
