Here are the latest Oracle 24B updates on the new capabilities in Talent Management.
GOAL MANAGEMENT
Oracle Goal Management enables you to transform business objectives into goals across various
organizational levels, providing a clear line of sight from managers to employees. Business leaders can
communicate high-level initiatives that managers can translate into goals for their employees.
REDWOOD – EXTEND GOAL SUPPORT:
You can leverage the extended performance goal actions in your Redwood goal pages. As of this release,
the extended performance goal feature is available in the Redwood Goal Center. You can extend goals
that are ongoing or weren’t completed in a goal plan.
Encourage regular communication, collaboration, and feedback between employees and managers by
extending goals. Extend a goal from the Goal Details page by selecting Extend from the Actions menu.
REDWOOD – SUBMIT INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE GOALS FOR APPROVAL:
Employees now have the flexibility to make incremental changes to a performance goal plan that’s in
pending approval status. They can add performance goals or edit goals that haven’t yet been submitted
for approval in the goal plan. For example, if a goal plan has five goals and two of them have been
submitted for approval, an employee can make edits to the other three goals and submit them for
approval. When such changes are made, the previous approval request is replaced with a new request
that includes all the latest changes.
REDWOOD – ROLE-BASED PERFORMANCE GOAL APPROVALS:
This feature enhances the usability of goal approvals with role-based approvals for goal changes or
additions.
REDWOOD – ENHANCED PERFORMANCE GOAL NOTIFICATIONS:
Use the Redwood enhanced performance goal notifications and take prompt action on your goals. In
this release, performance goal notifications can be sent for these transactions:

REDWOOD – MEASURABLE TASKS FOR PERFORMANCE GOALS:
Use measurable goal tasks in the Redwood Goal Center to measure your progress toward the
accomplishment of a goal.
You can see that This is a measurable task switch when you create or edit a performance goal task. You
can enter the following information for measurable tasks in performance goals:
