Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management 24D – What’s New

The Oracle Fusion Cloud 24D release brings several new features to the Order Management module, designed to enhance efficiency and streamline order processes. Here are some key highlights:

• Redesigned Sales Order Pages: Use redesigned pages to create and manage sales orders. Customize a page so it works just the way you like it.

• Extensible Flexfields: Use extensible flexfields in the same way that you use predefined attributes. Bring the attributes that you use most to the forefront and modify more than one order line at a time.

• Hands-On Keyboard Entry: Simplify order entry by using hands-on keyboard entry. Let your fingers do the walking and let your mouse take a rest.

• Visual Builder Studio: Use Visual Builder Studio to customize the page so you can focus on the data that’s most important for your business.

• Generative AI: Use Generative AI to determine changes and automatically populate comments. Create and modify confirmation emails that you send to your customers.

• Cascade Attribute Values: Use the new Cascade Order Header Values to Order Lines order management parameter to specify how you want Order Management to cascade values that you change on the order header to the order line when you save the order.

• Mass Actions: Do mass actions across borders and lines. Add and remove holds on more than one line at a time. Cancel more than one line in a single action.

• Shipping Tolerances: Enter or override shipping tolerances directly on the order line.

• Dual Units of Measure: For items that use dual units of measure, use the ordered quantity or enter the secondary quantity and let Order Management automatically convert to the ordered quantity.
• Sales Agreement Selection: Select the sales agreement. If more than one agreement line applies, then select one of them.

• Schedule Dates Override: Override schedule dates.

• Credit Check: Do a credit check.

• Customer Relationship Management: Manage the customer relationship regarding sales orders.

• Trade Compliance: Send to trade compliance and see the result.

• Revision Reason and Comment: Select a revision reason and enter a comment.

• Return Management: Add a return to an outbound sales order.

• Guided Journeys: Use Guided Journeys to guide your users while they enter data in the sales order.

• Click Reduction: Reduce clicks when you create, revise, or cancel a sales order.
