Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Journeys in the 25B release brings some important shifts, especially in how onboarding and checklists are handled.

  • Redwood UI Becomes the Standard

The Redwood Experience is now central to Journeys. The Redwood UI offers a cleaner, more intuitive interface with better accessibility and mobile responsiveness.

  • Profile Option Activation

The ORA_PER_JOURNEYS_ENABLED profile option is still set to N by default. To enable Redwood Journeys:

  • Go to Setup and Maintenance
  • Search for Manage Administrator Profile Values
  • Locate ORA_PER_JOURNEYS_ENABLED and set it to Y
  • Save and close
  • Centralized Journey Management

The Journeys app now acts as a unified hub for all journey types—predefined, user-defined, and contextual. This streamlines how HR teams and managers assign, monitor, and personalize employee experiences.

  • AI-Powered Task Recommendations

Oracle is introducing AI-driven suggestions within Journeys. Based on user behavior and role, the system can now recommend the next best action, making the experience more dynamic and personalized.

  • Enhanced Activity Centers

Role-specific dashboards (for employees, managers, HR specialists) now include KPIs, tasks, and communications—all in one place. This helps users stay focused and aligned with their responsibilities.

  • Improved Data Loader Support

HCM Data Loader now supports additional business objects like job offers and offer assignments, making bulk updates and migrations more efficient.
