Here’s what’s new in Oracle Fusion Cloud Maintenance 25C, with a focus on integration, automation, and usability improvements that align with your methodical and compliance- driven approach:

Integration Enhancements
Maintenance Cloud Accelerator has been upgraded to improve data flow between Oracle Fusion Field Service and Maintenance Cloud:
- Echo Suppression Logic: Prevents redundant updates by filtering out repeated work order changes triggered by the same source.
- Trigger Optimization: Uses the LastUpdatedBy field to exclude self-initiated updates, reducing system noise and improving performance.
- Custom Integration Role Setup: Oracle recommends using a dedicated integration user (FFS_APP_INTEG_ID) to ensure echo suppression works correctly. If a different username is used, prebuilt flows must be manually adjusted.
Usability & Configuration
- Maintenance Management Landing Page: Redesigned for better navigation and visibility into work areas, resources, and assets.
- Work Center & Resource Management: Enhanced UI for managing resource instances and work centers, making it easier to track availability and assignments.
- Asset Lifecycle Improvements:
- Streamlined asset creation and editing workflows.
- Support for automatic asset creation based on predefined rules.
SCM Process Integration
- Improved Dependencies Mapping: Maintenance now interacts more seamlessly with other SCM modules like Inventory and Manufacturing.
- Inventory Web Service Access: New roles and permissions allow maintenance users to perform inventory transactions directly via REST APIs.
