The Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) 25D release, available in non-
production environments starting October 6, 2025, emphasizes AI-driven innovations,
enhanced user experiences, and operational efficiencies across the supply chain. This quarterly
update introduces numerous embedded AI agents and assistants to accelerate decision-making,
alongside expansions in Redwood UX and specialized features for manufacturing and
procurement.

AI Agents and Generative AI Enhancements
Release 25D significantly boosts AI capabilities with new agents tailored for SCM workflows,
enabling faster issue resolution, data analysis, and automation. These are configurable via
Oracle AI Agent Studio and require specific duty roles (e.g., Fai Genai Agent SCM Administrator
Duty and Runtime Duty) for access and management.
Planning Advisor for Exceptions and Notes: A new AI agent template in Demand
Management to prioritize and analyze high-impact supply chain planning exceptions,
reducing manual review time. Common template for both exceptions and notes; users
can configure or use as-is.
Sales Order and Fulfillment Agents: AI assistants in Order Management to handle order
exceptions, summarize complex data, and optimize fulfillment processes.
Equipment Maintenance and Diagnostics Agent: In Maintenance, a new agent for
proactive issue resolution, diagnostics, and work order management to minimize
downtime.
Product 360 Advisor: A versatile agent for quick retrieval of product data, availability,
inventory status, and usage insights across SCM modules.
Embedded AI Across SCM: General expansions in generative AI for content creation,
reporting, and audience insights, integrated into Redwood pages for seamless use.
User Experience and Redwood UX Updates
Redwood, Oracle’s modern design system, sees wider rollout in SCM, improving usability with
intuitive interfaces and guided journeys.
Redwood Pages in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Configuration:
New interfaces for streamlined product data management and configuration tasks.
Order Management Redwood Enhancements: Predefined enabling of “Prioritize Order
Lines for Reservations and Simplify Integration” (no opt-in required post-25D); supports
attribute updates on split lines from partial shipments.
SCM-Wide Redwood Rollout: Many AI features and pages are now accessible via
Redwood, including guided journeys for tasks like order submission and exception
handling. Profile options control access to specific pages.
Manufacturing and Maintenance Improvements
Focus on connected operations, mobile support, and process manufacturing.
Smart Operations Expansion: Enhanced connected equipment monitoring and mobile
capabilities for real-time manufacturing insights.
Formula Management: New feature for process manufacturers to manage recipes,
ingredients, and compliance more efficiently.
Work Order Agent in Service/Maintenance: Leverages GenAI to summarize
contracts/quotes and resolve maintenance issues faster.
Inventory and Procurement Enhancements
Streamlined controls for healthcare, banking, and warehouse operations.
Advanced Inventory Management Integration: New support for robotic material
handling systems, optimized for healthcare facilities to improve accuracy and speed.
Procurement Bank Account Validation: Enhanced validation processes to reduce errors
in supplier payments and ensure compliance.
Warehouse Controls and Order Management Updates: Improved workflows for
reservations, partial shipments, and drop shipments to minimize disruptions.
Security and Role Management for AI Features
New duty roles: Fai Genai Agent SCM Administrator Duty (for management) and
Runtime Duty (for interaction). Assign via Security Console; enable permission groups
for user access.
Opt-in expirations: Several features (e.g., Redwood prioritization) are now enabled by default;
review prior What’s New docs for impacts.
