The Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement 25D update, part of the broader Oracle Cloud
Applications quarterly release, became available in non-production environments with
production. This release emphasizes AI-driven automation, enhanced user interfaces via the
Redwood design system, streamlined integrations, and improved supplier management. It
introduces new AI agents to accelerate sourcing and requisition processes, alongside UI
modernizations and API enhancements for better efficiency and compliance. Below is a
categorized summary of key new features and updates.

AI and Automation Enhancements
Quote to Purchase Requisition Assistant (AI Agent): A new AI-powered agent automates the
conversion of supplier quotation PDFs into draft purchase requisitions. It extracts key data (e.g.,
items, prices, quantities) using AI, intelligently maps it to requisition fields, and notifies users of
success or errors. This eliminates manual data entry and reduces errors. Supports email-
forwarded PDFs (text-based only; image-based not supported). Requires setup in AI Agent
Studio, email configuration, and scheduling the “Process Emails for Procurement Transactions”
job. Only Google and Microsoft-hosted emails are compatible.
AI-Assisted Sourcing: Embedded AI agent provides intelligent recommendations for supplier
selection, negotiation strategies, and sourcing decisions, enabling faster and more informed
procurement cycles.
User Interface and Experience Improvements (Redwood Adoption)
New Supplier Management Tile and Redwood Landing Page: A dedicated tile on the
Procurement login page launches a modernized Redwood-based Supplier Management
landing page for quick access to recent suppliers and tasks. The classic page remains
available via the existing Suppliers tile. Administrators can add custom KPIs, analytics,
and visualizations for better monitoring.
Enhanced Purchasing Landing Page Search Utility: Improved search on the Purchasing
page allows quick location of documents (e.g., purchase orders, agreements,
requisitions) beyond recent items, reducing navigation time.
New Supplier Qualification Landing Page: Redwood-enabled page for managers to view
recent qualifications and navigate tasks efficiently. Includes redesigned pages for
internal responders to prioritize questionnaires and action plans.
Redwood Self-Service Procurement Application: Full adoption of Redwood UX for
requisition creation and goods/services procurement, with training available for
seamless transition.
Integration and API Updates
Modified REST APIs: Updated APIs simplify external system integrations, supporting
smoother data exchange for procurement workflows.
New Configuration Components Child Resource: Enables management and retrieval of
components for configured items, aiding in handling customizable products.
Supply Requests REST API Enhancements: Allows adding lines to existing transfer
orders in Inventory Management and creating work orders in Manufacturing directly via
API, improving orchestration efficiency.
Purchasing and Workflow Optimizations
Real-Time Requisition Line Processing: Process small requisition sets (up to 5 lines) into
purchase orders or negotiation documents instantly, without waiting for scheduled jobs,
for faster turnaround.
Supplier Portal and Security Enhancements
Oracle WAF for SaaS: Deploys managed Web Application Firewall (WAF) for Layer 7
protection against HTTP/S threats, enhancing security for supplier interactions.
Supplier Portal Contracts Redwood Page: Suppliers can now send notifications and
share documents centrally via the updated Redwood page. Includes a drawer panel for
managing shared documents with drag-and-drop support.
Supplier Qualification Management
Custom KPIs and Data Visualizations: Add tailored KPIs and visuals to the new landing
page for real-time monitoring of qualification performance and operations.
