The Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM 25D release introduces several targeted enhancements to HCM
Data Loader (HDL), focusing on bulk data management, integrations, and automation. These
updates build on HDL’s core strengths for efficient, scalable data imports, particularly in
recruiting, talent, and benefits areas.

Key Enhancements
WhatsApp Integration as a Communication Channel:
Recruiters can now bulk-load WhatsApp as a preferred communication method for candidates
directly via HDL. This expands outreach options beyond email and SMS, enabling more
personalized and timely candidate engagement. It’s particularly useful for global teams,
improving response rates in diverse markets.
Job Requisition Date Management:
HDL now supports updating Job Requisition Start and End Dates in bulk. This allows HR admins
to dynamically adjust posting lifecycles without manual UI interventions, ensuring job postings
align with evolving hiring needs and reducing administrative overhead.
Bulk Skill Association with Learning Items:
Using the new EnhancedTalentProfile.dat file format, HDL enables mass association of dynamic
skills to learning content, such as self-paced courses and specializations. Key supported
attributes include skill level, proficiency indicators, and relatedness flags. This streamlines
talent development by making skill profiles more accurate and actionable, enhancing visibility
into workforce capabilities.
Benefits Bill Payment Business Object:
A new business object for Benefits Bill Payments allows bulk uploads of billing data via HDL (or
HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader). This covers payment details like amounts, due dates, and
vendor info, accelerating benefits reconciliation and compliance reporting while minimizing
errors in high-volume scenarios.
Benefits
These updates emphasize HDL’s role in driving efficiency for large-scale operations, with no
reported changes to core processing (e.g., multithreading or validation remains unchanged
from prior releases).
